Got the Silver Sky Metalic because that's what they had on the lot, really wish I had held out for the MGM. But I'm not unhappy.

I noticed a pattern: 1st truck out of high school was white, then graduated college and I got a job and a new truck (2nd): Silver. Promoted, time for a new truck (3rd): Blue. Laid off (depressed, but I have a truck (that I can't afford, very depressed)). NEW JOB (Yippy!), doesn't pay as much (bummer) but comes with a COMANY CAR (Yippy!) no choice of color, doesn't count, sold the truck (very sad, bipolar much?). Company re-orgs, company car goes bye-bye, got a car of my own to replace it: White (see first truck) Hated it, should have gotten a truck. Traded in ASAFP on a new truck: Silver (see 2nd truck). I am expecting that my next truck will be blue (see 3rd truck), or maybe MGM. People see stupid patterns in the strangest of places.

I ordered an Inferno SR5, and I fricking love the color. It's a pearlescent orange in the sun, and a burnt orange when it's cloudy. It's got personality.

It does feel like the mature color choice for some reason, lol. Funny thing is the blue is pretty much the same hue value, but doesn't seem to have the same mature effect, if that makes sense?

Either way, if a truck was in front of me and I was offered a good deal, I probably would of bought any color, they all look really nice in their own way.

I drove a Silver Tacoma for 14 years. When I decided to buy a 2016 I jumped at the Barcelona Red. Yeah will be a little hard to keep clean. Don't care. Beautiful truck.

I love my MGM. But the more and more I see quicksand the more I like it.

White is good until you drive in the rain and then it turns black.

My preference still goes back and forth between magnetic grey metallic and blazing blue pearl. I have absolutely no regrets about getting BBP, though. I love the truck.

Looked at inferno with the orange stitch black interior really loved it.... It was a 4x2 sport model. Wanted a 4x4 trd off-road and the dealer got silver, red, and MGM. After seeing them all in person I knew the MGM was a safe play as I plan on keeping this truck for a long time. Not to mention the MGM had no vibration or rumble strip when slowing issues Sold!!! No regrets

So I went to the dealership to check out the BBP, they dangled a price I couldn't resist. The more I look at the color, the more I love it. Thanks for all the info fella's. I'm in the club now, dclb 4x4 BBP1462725729630.jpg

Wow never realized how close quicksand is to that color on the 1st gens. Don't tell me that color is quicksand too lol. Anyway I like quicksand a lot on the 3rd gen but can't stand the tan on the 1st gen. This may have just eliminated it from my potential color choices lol

It's not quicksand on the first gen, it's gold. Looks great on the 1st gen, horrible on the 2nd Gen when they offered it.

That is so true with mine. I really wanted a four door and Dave wanted the smaller cab. When we got to the lot he immedialty said nope....we're going 4 door when we saw the MGM. :bananadance: I was super stoked that I got the model I wanted. The color was not flashy like one of my previous cars. I could have gone for the quicksand, but the response I got...and I quote...."Hell fucking no!".

I'm happy with the old man MGM. Same color as my last car.
