Depends on what you want to spend. Icon, all pro for suspension or you can just throw spacers for a cheap lift

Looking for a good 3" lift with a good smooth ride. Prefer to do it the right away and not just throw blocks on.
Know any good suspension setups? Nothing crazy spendy looking around maybe 700-1000

Good lifts these days aren't that cheap. If that is your budget check out toytec. They make coilovers for these trucks. Do your research and go from there

I was this way as well but you can not find a really good lift for 700.00 this price range is is typically for spacer kits or just leveling kits.

Hey there! was hoping you had a build page? Can't find if so, trying to figure out what lift I need... Put 265 70 17s on stock suspension, and just not beefy enough for me... They say I need a 3" lift to go 33" 285 75 17s... Seems excessive, but trying to figure out options... Thanks!

With a big enough cab mount chop and a lot of fender well trimming, you "might" be able to clear 285/75's without a 3 inch lift, but the truck wouldn't be very usefull. I'm running a 3 inch Icon stage 6 lift with 285/70's and am planning on moving up to 285/75 her in a few months. Even then, I still plan on doing a cab mount chop to clear the extra tire. Currently not rubbing with the tires that are on there now.

I'm curious to see some of your guys front axle angles. If the ribs are touching on the inner boot they will rub through and split, probably less then 10k miles. Check them and do the boot stretch trick, warranty may not cover because it's lifted. Just a thought, I know there are a lot of new Tacoma owners that may not be aware.

Looks like it.. Might be because of the wheels and tires.

ToyTec Ultimate lift, FX Pro wheels, 295/70/17 Ridge Grapplers, AFE drop in filter.
Just ordered a 2016 SR DCSB 4wd, should have it in a few weeks. I have a lift on the shelf waiting for it, 3" front 2.5" rear. I would like to keep the stock 16" aluminum wheels. Questions are, can I fit a 295/75/16 with this lift and if so, will I need a wheel spacer to clear the upper control arms? I do not want to trim anything however I will be removing the front bumper lip whether I need to or not simply because I hate it. Any info is greatly appreciated.

    Nonsense ...

    http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p227/Coil/Blistein_5100_Kit_(HS05BK-1).html
    select:
    OME 885
    HS 3 leaf AAL
    assemble yourself
    $738

If you want to save another $100 just buy the springs from HS ($372 with trim packer for driver side lean), and get the struts/shocks from jet.com, use the code SHOP15, and 5100's cost about $250 front/rear. Run you about $630 total.

If you have a TRD OR just get the 5100's for the front since the 5100's in the rear are essentially identical to the factory TRD OR shocks.

This setup will meet the needs of 95% of people's off roading ... well, for that matter, the factory setup would too ... So, this is basically just a way to get ~2" of lift front/rear while not destroying the ride, and still have a suspension capable for 95% of needs.

Thanks man... I run the individual program for BMW so I had to go bold. It's actually amazing the amount of things you can do they have 230 different colors that people don't even know about that you can paint them.
