Anyone watching Alone on the History channel?

Cool. I thought it was today. My bad. Mitch is my pick, but Alan definitely looks like a contender.

 

Mitch left ,go figure thought he was prepared to stay then he got to thinking about his mother too bad he had that to deal with. It is all mental now for Sam and Alan.
Will see who breaks first next week. 37 plus days don't know how they are lasting this long.

Hope the guys that left real early see what a true survivor is like.

 

I wasn't expecting Mitch to go home definitely caught me by surprise. I thought he was gonna win.

 

Funny that Sam lost the last poll and just might win this. go figure nobody called that one.

 

Totally, I actually thought he was gonna be out long ago. The editors did a good job on that one. Now I'm not even sure who to pick. I'm not that pumped about this show when it first started, the need to cut out all the bitching and crying, it's turning me off from the show.

 

Glad this is over and Alan won. Can't say anything about the sniveling group that left early on.

 

It was kinda boring, now that I've watched the whole series, that's how I feel about the show.

 

The two women that completed the Army Ranger School have more manliness than most of these guys.

 

Haha! Those are some bad ass ladies. I guess I was just expecting something different. Not 35 minutes of crying and complaining. I'll watch the 2nd season, but if it's the same probably not long.

They could have done without the 1st 5 people who quit and made the show a lot better, showed more bushcraft/survival stuff. I don't think grown men enjoy watching grown men rant and complain.

 

Season 2 of Alone will take place on Vancouver Island again. I wonder if they will change the editing and cut out the man-whining? I hope so.

THREAD REVIVAL!!!!!

Anyone watching the new season? They are only introducing 3-4 people per episode right now, kind of a slow start. On the plus side, only one person went home on the first day...what a pansy!! He acted so tough and got spooked before it even got dark!

Seems like some strong survivors this year. I will post my prediction soon!! (which I have been accurate 100% of the time so far )

 

I been watching it. The first guy didn't last 7 hours, another dude lost his ferro rod again, and the girl chopped her hand....doh. hopefully the rest will be better survivors.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about that dude losing his ferro...aye aye aye

That girl was not looking too good from the beginning...couldn't even keep her shelter from flooding and clearly lets emotions overtake her.

I do like that other girl Terry, she seems pretty smart.

 

I've seen lots of vids on youtube for auditions, and personally think they could done a way better job casting. Maybe this time around they wanted people that were more regular? 1st season was a lot of youtube guys.

 

yeah, this season seems to be a mix of experience and drama for tv. Still should be better than a lot of stuff on currently

 

I think the dude from Spain is gonna win. He's like Kane from Kung-fu, just the bushcraft version.

 

I think season 3 is going to be a collection of all the people that lost there ferro rods.
