I really want 17s, specifically Konig Six Shooters:

But recently I have considered either of these because I can't decide which color Konig to go with:

Not bad. Will the backspacing on the other too be an issue?

shouldn't be an issue on any of them. there are only two tire sizes i will likely ever run in the future, 265/70R17 and 255/80R17

on the wheels what do you guys think of the trd beadlock wheels? I think these would look good on a white truck with the ring painted black but being such a narrow rim it will limit how big I can go

    Cross post for the yokels:

Every one or any one with Bilsteins at 0 with 885's and a Toytec AAL with the over load spring still in place (I haul and tow stuff too), did need a differential drop and or a carrier bearing drop kit?

I still have to add a 50 +/- pound recovery bar in the front a skid plate that is about the same weight and a set of bolt on rock sliders. so these would bring it down some too.

    2016 SR V6 4X4 DCSB.

    thanks

    I bounce it offa stuff.
I did a carrier bearing drop but I had a 3/8" spacer on top of the 885. It helped a little driveline vibe I had. Best advice is install the lift first and see if you have any vibes. Most sentiment on TW is avoid diff drops at all cost.

I did the lift and have an intermittent / pulsing vibe I can feel by the through the gas pedal. I don't feel it during 4x4 and when I floor it. But its' there when cruising along.

also for got to add it's a 2016

I had one at pretty specific times during acceleration. Best advice is do some reading on TW. A lot of folks recommend measuring driveline angle before and after lifting to help isolate cause of vibes. I never did that, but bought the CB drop with my lift (dirt cheap, $11 or so) and threw it on and vibes nearly vanished. If you want to throw parts at it and not take time isolating, try the CB drop first. Other option is an axle shim, but CB drop is a pretty common fix for vibes and very easy install.

I did the reading and was seeing both the shims and the CD. I'll get under it some time this week to check out the angles. Didn't do it before the lift, didn't think of it really.

I already priced the drops so, meh whats an extra $20 with shipping.

    Thanks.

Since it is a 2016 you may want to contact lift manufacturer there may not be a whole lot of info on the forum yet but you should do a search on 3rd gen thread somebody else has probably had same issue

I did a progressive AAL on the back, still get a shutter at takeoff, so I think an axle shim would be appropriate for that (axle wrap), but the CB drop tends to be better for correcting vibes at speed. Simplest summary I can give. I never measured top/bottom shaft lengths and angles before and after either. I haven't heard much success with the diff drop. It only drops the front mount bolts, and because of that, only alters the rear diff angle by like a fraction of a degree. There's some horror stories and gnarly damage photos of catching the front spacers on rocks n shit too.

3rd gen is damn near the same as 2nd with the exception that factory suspension sits 1" higher (frame mounts are moved), so most of the same parts fit, they just give 1" less lift than advertised. Driveline angles and tolerances should be pretty similar.

Luckily I haven't had the shutter at take off. Just the vibe. I'll send the dealer I got the lift from a line see whats up too.
