All I am saying is that dealers in the east coast are telling me 2017 will be available to order in late summer. Where is the hate

Im sorry but Sunroofs are not available on Access Cab models, you are looking for 7559, that is a 0.1% build for my region. Im not sure what area you are in but it will definitely be a tough one to find without ordering it.

Im sorry but that is incorrect for the southwest region. Production date is later than that. Again I am not trying argue or start a fire but I do want to let you know that I work directly with the region and can assure you that the estimated production day later than that, I promise I wouldnt make this statement without supporting documentation.

So no sunroof on the access cab? How about a TRD Sport DCSB in manual 4x4?

I'm GLAD mine doesn't have power seats. I used to have power seats on an 07 Explorer Eddie Bauer and every time my kids took it, they'd jack the seat around 7 different freakin ways and it took a week to get it back right, then another one would take it, and the process started all over again. Now they can slide it back and forth and that's about it. only 2 axis' they can eff with, and it's easy to fix.

Is there any difference on the 2017 from the 2016 Taco TRD double cabs?

I have had a few dealers tell me it is the same exact truck. No changes for the 2017. I just hope Toyota fixes the problems that have been reported

Power seats allow you to adjust height, also front and back tilt. If you ever had that you would understand. It's almost annoying seeing people who don't understand it bashing people who what those options.

Dude. Bashing. No one is bashing anyone. I am just trying to get an understanding for all of the fuss over power seats. Just so that you know you are the only negative response I have received. How do you feel now

What does hard up mean? I was really just trying to point out why people keep requesting them. Doubt many off roaders want leather but I hope you get the option when you order.
Peace brother, where the hell is the beer emoticon I've seen here?

Toyota is rolling out its Toyota Safety Sense system in most of its models by the end of 2017. Pre collision braking, Lane departure warning, etc.

Maybe this will make it into the 2017 Tacos if these features appeal to you.

Data point for the group: I was told by a new car manager in the midwest that deliveries for the MY17's would start in October. That answer was after they sent an email to Toyota and got back to me. No information on potential changes. The dealer let me put money down on my own spec'd build (#7545 TRD OR w/manual in MGM, +HH/TO/2T) to be first in line for a '17.

I figure at this point if you are ordering your own build - the wait is potentially 3-4 months - one might as well wait the extra month to just get a '17. Figure a small bump in potential resale value many years down the road for not being the "first year" of a model change, plus maybe the rear window will have drapes or something.
