This is a happy medium for me!

Went and saw Mom today, she is an amazing person for 91, still has the same fire in her voice and a great sense of humor. She has been getting smaller though, she is down to 4' 10". Hope I can get there too one day.

    Age, not height lol

I'm cleaning it Chris. Years of foot traffic. Even though it's washed several times a week it builds up.
So grout cleaner and a tooth brush...

I do about a dozen tiles and then stop. After its clean ill seal it again.
I saved a package of grout and a dozen tiles. So when I replace one it should be a close match.

    fiftys.

I hang out in the 40s thread and the 60s thread. They're both filled with good folks. There are a couple of guys in the 40s thread that are constantly buying stuff, they get razzed for it but that's part of the fun. 60s are grumpy old farts, deservedly so after all they're (we're) 60+ years old! But they (we) are easily swayed by offerings of "beverages" of almost any variety.

 Morning eastcoasters. Just up between naps again, my normal routine. ;)

We had a nice Mother's Day, went to dinner with youngest son, his fiancee, and her Dad (her Mom is out of town on business). Nice restaurant they picked out, a little snooty, but the food was delicious and we all had a good time. Interesting side note, name of place was "Suite 100"... up until I pulled into the parking lot, I was thinking "Sweet 100" ... oh well, I found it amusing.

    Your Mom sounds wonderful. :)

    Time to go fishing!

I was up early today to put weed & feed on the yard -- finally -- while the dew was still on the grass. We may only get one sunny day instead of the recommended two but it'll have to do. The dandelions have already flowered and gone to seed once but it was rainy the whole time so I couldn't spread the stuff. I hope it still does some good.
