Kids do dumb things. It happens. I seriously doubt nobody else on this thread hasn't done over 100 in a vehicle.

That being said I don't advocate it haha

Ok you guys caught me. I didn't have to piss. I just wanted to see what the truck would max out at haha. :shitstorm:

Sometimes I get speed withdrawals when I don't get to ride my dirt bike regularly.

This morning I installed the Kobalt Mid-size truck toolbox. Painted it gloss black since they don't seem to sell it in that color. It's low profile and fits perfectly. [IMG]

You'll get injector cut around 105mph, or you can have big tires and tall gears and hit around 125mph before it thinks its going 105mph. *cough* I wouldn't know any thing about that though *cough*

A lot of people have noted that they fit right on top of the existing fuse box, but you could also make a little plate to put it on top of the emissions box on the drivers fender.

Was trying to avoid doing it on top of the exsiting fuse box. I will have to go look at the emissions box. Dont mind making a bracket and drilling into the fender. Any one have any pictures of it over the emissions box?

    Debadging question.

I started the process last weekend. The SR5 came off easy. I then worked on the doors and the tailgate.
There was a bunch of crap. I tried some nail polish remover and goo gone. I also just bucked down and worked it slowly.
In the end I bought a 3M wheel for the drill. This did a great job of removing extra crap ... but.

I still have outlines around the letters on the doors and some on the tailgate.

Also, the previous owner had installed some dorky outside window shade/whatever. The backs are still on, the fronts were off, and there was a buttload of doublestick tape left on it.

    Passenger door.jpg

So I also took that crap off. In most of the places where it is, the paint is a little dulled.

    Ideas?

3M adhiesive remover will help... honestly it may just be that your paint is faded and nothing you can do but wait for the newly uncovered paint to fade enough for it to not be as noticeable.
