Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
I too have the weathertechs! And i do like them, the fit was not as good as advertised vut they are still great to have.

I also love my 2015 TRD Pro supercharged 6spd.

It is much more pleasant to drive with the boost. But I am really getting frustrated with the lame ass 6spd in it. My 2013 6spd never had these issues!

That being said i love the truck, and i will get past these problems if i have to address them myself. But before i go drop mad coin fixing a brand new truck I am going to exhaust all measures to enure Toyota has every chance to make it right!

Personally I am very happy i picked up my 2015 and the blowerwhile i could!

    Yeah what issues?

    Here's what I'm thinking:

You go from 5 to 2 sometimes, aiming for 4
    3 grinds like a motherfucker
    Your clutch is slipping
    Possible clutch pedal squeak

Once I got a speed shifter in, the top 2 don't happen as much, but that could just be from getting used to the truck
The 2nd gen clutches suck and I'm convinced they can not handle Supercharged Power. Alot of guys are getting clutch slip with the supercharger on. I replaced mine with a URD Stage 3 and Lightweight flywheel and did the Throw out bearing upgrade as well and haven't looked back. (They now sell a heavy duty flywheel for better offroading)
Clutch pedal squeak is usually the throw out bearing...URD has that fix as well.

What? No issues here, just minor, very minor things, not even worth taking to the dealer for.

Let me preface by stating that I'm not complaining.

Anybody experience "limp" mode while going up in elevation? Drove to SoCal this weekend and experienced "limp" mode twice on the climb. I was in 6th gear going 75MPH, then the speed drops down to 60MPH when going up in elevation. It remained at 60MPH at WOT, pedal to the metal...WTF?!? I had to drop down to 4th gear and pedal to the metal just to go over 65MPH. This happened on the way to SoCal at the first climb a few miles in CA and on the way back at the climb below. Not an issue, just curious if anybody else is experiencing the same thing with their M/T.

Don't think that is limp mode, I think you just ran out of torque.

Agreed. Limp mode is typically around 15mph and usually comes with a check engine light. 6th gear isn't low enough to go up a big hill at 75 mph.

What's your tire size and gear ratio? I experienced that when I was geared at 3.77 with 35's. One I regeared, I can go up and down the grape vine in 6th gear.

How the heck do you run out of torque?

5th wasn't low enough. Engine was struggling in 4th to make it up that hill

    Stock everything

I hate you, Matt the Radar Tech, and your supercharger :)

I contacted Toyota via their "contact link" on the website inquiring why a manual is not offered in an Access Cab other than Sport in the U.S. while it's offered in Off Road in Canada? And could manual transmission be offered in Access Cab either Off Road or SR5 for 2017 because AC's 6' bed is border line too short as it is?

The reply was my enquiry has been noted, manual transmission is available in the TRD Off Road Double Cab and I should test drive one LOL.
