Guess you'll have to go back. Did they have decent elevation changes? I know that was one of the goals when they developed the site. I can imagine riding a bike in 50deg temps + rain would suck balls even with full gear.

Really liking the trail toys mirrors. Went down to my parents place in CT (about 1.75hrs each way) and they show so much more, it's pretty crazy the difference vs stock mirrors. You can literally see everything with them from the kickouts on my sliders to people 2 lanes over almost at a 90 deg angle from your door. They should have come stock.

There is still so much dust inside my truck from offroading a few weeks ago it ridiculous. But the amount I care is far less than the my motivation to clean it out...

Sadly most of the dust in mine is from work, and not offroading.

    Mornin' all.

@Sloth I got my first delivery from Walden last night. I'm excited for dinner this week, looks like we got some decent cuts of meat in there.

Agreed, I finally had to bite the bullet and mow in the rain yesterday. Of course, it got nice about the time I finished.

    Morning all.

Need a little help diagnosing a rear brake issue. I took the garage queen out the other day and noticed some noise coming from the rear end while braking. It was a grinding sound, like when your brakes have a little surface rust on them after sitting for a while. Except this noise didn't go away after driving a while and I could faintly hear a similar noise while the wheels rotated. Also the e-brake didn't work at all, backed out of the garage and didn't feel any resistance. Seeing how I'm not familiar with working on drum brakes and will probably be taking the truck somewhere to get worked on. I was looking to get some ideas on what might be going on. Is it possible that the brakes could just be dirty and I need o take the drum off and clean? Thanks in advance.

Mike rear brakes are nothing to be scared of. I would pop the drums and see what you can see. Grab some cleaner and some tub grease. You can always use one side to compare to the other. Plus just post up pics and questions

I was thinking about trying to take it apart this week or weekend. I don't really want to pay someone to inspect the brakes. I'll make sure to post pics with questions if I get them apart.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Hello all. Had a really nice weekend with the fam. Saturday we rented a room at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield for Jacob's birthday party, it was a week late but it just worked out that way. We spent most of the time at the pool and then to the room for pizza and cake. Tons of family members came and he had a great time.
Yesterday was all for the Mom's. After waking up at the Hotel we went to the breakfast buffet that they have at the hotel and then back to the pool with the little one's. When we left we went to my mother in-laws to say hello and give her her gift. Then we went to find Rachel her gift but we were having a hard time. So we picked up my mother and let her pick the color to the gift we were getting her. Then went to find Rachel her gift again. After 3 stores we finally found it. A 9.7" Samsung Galaxy Tab A. Walmart had just lowered the price $50 in stores only so they were hard to find.

yeah lots of good elevation changes. one downhill left hander like gravity cavity at the dragon. you go down, it banks in the apex, and then goes back uphill. downhill into the front straight with a slight kink. they add some chicanes after turn one to slow bikes down since it's an area without a ton of run off but those were fun too. then a sweeping lefthander to an uphill hairpin. i can't wait to go back on a nicer day

    Morning peeps!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and no one got banned.

Any here a tech savy/knowledgeable person? Looking into buying a small camcorder, to be able to make videos of the kids, so doing a bit of research but there's so much out there that I have no clue what I want anymore. Looking for something small and hopefully not more than a couple hundered bucks.

I think I ran through gravity cavity 4-5 times when I was down on the dragon, so much fun.

That sounds pretty promising, and hopefully it'll be a big draw for the northeast region scca and other clubs that use it.

I want a GoPro for the reasons you mentioned and more. The endless mounting options make it an attractive option for me.

Go Pro's are awesome, waterproof cases, HD quality and remote controlled depending on the model. These things are getting smaller and smaller too. If you really want a standalone camcorder I love the Sony series, I honestly haven't even seen anyone use a camcorder in ages....

Thought about that but don't think the wife will like it as much as I would. It's more for her actually than it is for me, so it has to be "nice looking".
