It's cheaperfor me to get a hotel room that allows dogs than to deal with all that comes with boarding my dog. I also get a break form the heat and free showers and Continental breakfast which I pilage for lunches too. So in all I save a bit and I'm more comfortable. I can camp in the high country all summer long and not be subjected to Utah sun. Moab hotels are getting to be a bit expensive even for the la quintas etc

many people bring their dogs, us included..we'll have both of ours

the heat during the day does get up there, but i'll typically wheel with the AC on and windows open to keep cool air circulating through..

shittiest thing about having dogs there IMO is the gnats around camp if their bad..they tend to get in their ears and bite them..the gnaughty gnat spray is good for dogs..

Karen's campground is a great boarding facility if you had to leave them somewhere to explore a nation park or just need a day away and let them hang with other dogs in the shade all day...we've used them before when we did the ropes course at adventure moab

What's up with the tow rigs getting fucked? I'm a half a mile from work this morning and this guy pulls out in front of me. I was doing 60 and he pulled out with about a three car gap.

My steering wheel is cocked 90 degrees, but I was able to drive her to the office. Guess she's headed to the body shop after work.

I'll have to drive the taco to Jambo. Gonna be fun getting all my gear and merch into the taco.

I shouldn't have any issues getting her fixed in time for RT. I'll have to get a rental truck for Jambo. I leave Wednesday night, so there's no chance of the truck being ready by then.

Jambo is in Gilmer Tx, and only about 250 miles north of me. Worse comes to worse I'll drive the taco up there.

that wouldn't work. if you tried to rear end someone, you'd just end up right back in front of them again...

Ours is the opposite if we drive the crawler on the street. Everyone likes to swerve into us, pull out in front of us, and do other stupid stuff. Which is awesome because we don't have a horn so we just end up yelling out the window lol. I'm not sure if we look like we're going slower with the bigger tires or what lol

4 DAYS LEFT TO ORDER SHIRTS. DON'T MISS OUT! Moving these to a new page

we do request the camping spots before the ravine and immediately after stay vacant for organizers and sponsors. see the map below, the black circle. red circle is typically where we put the toilets. green circle by the entrance where the dumpsters usually are.

if you setup early and are in these locations, you will be asked to move...

    also a couple other notes...

DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS/PLANTS
DO NOT PARK IN THE TREE LINE

we will make rounds while we're out there to make sure everyone is in a good position. we need to respect this land as it is not ours and need to keep this area open for years to come.

we will try to get some organizers there as soon as we can during the week to assist you in finding a proper camping spots if you are unsure.

here's a video on how to get to Area BFE and take note at 0:56 to 1:00 this area will be utilized by organizers and sponsors...the area to the right at 1:00 will also be used...that is the black circle on the map above. the main camping will be straight ahead, all the way to the trees at 1:00 all the way to 1:15 is all valid camping...as you get closer to that back hill, do not drive on trees, shrubs, grass, anything living..
