Looking into purchasing a tool box or tonneau cover for my 2016 TRD Sport access cab. Has anyone purchased any recently or does anyone have any recommendations for where to look?

I also have a UWS, low profile picked up from Amazon.

You can search via the part number but be advised, Amazon will say it doesn't fit the 2016 Tacoma but based on my pics, it does.

My first gen also has a UWS, it's 9 years old and still looks good and functions perfectly.

We have tonneau covers that fit the new Tacomas. Check out our options here and let me know if I can answer any questions for you.

Also, if you order from our online store, be sure to type TACOTIME in the promo code box at checkout. We'll give you a little extra present with any order of $300 or more.

How did y'all secure those boxes, just screws into the bed railing? I'm hoping for something a little more elegant.

See the thread I linked to do my '16 in-the-bed box
The crossover box I had on my '07 was secured with Betterbuilt GripRites, mounted to the side rails with t slot nuts. It doesn't require the whole assembly; just the half with both screw holes.

I bought a better built slim toolbox and added a bed net. I’ll post some pics when I get a chance. Depends on how much stuff you haul that needs to be weather proof. If your not worried about the stuff in your bed getting wet then, def go for toolbox and net.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I also have the UWS box. Take the time to carpet the inside of you get it. You will be much happier with it if you do.
