    Good Morning ,

Hopefully this wet weather is done and warmer weather is more the norm . Supposed to be nearing mid/high 90's by the middle of the week

Spent most of Saturday working on the Camaro cleaning and detailing the engine getting it ready for this Saturday's car show

Anyone have an idea how to keep mice out of equipment? I have tried moth balls, traps, I even remove engine covers. But they come back with a vengeance!! GRRRRRR.

Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed. On sale at the local Ace Hardware. I've tried less expensive brands but always end up coming back to Scotts.

That is good stuff...it's more of a flake than a granule (Vigoro), which helps to stick to the broadleaf weeds better. Morning dew is a good plan, if you have auto sprinklers setting them for 3 mins and then spreading works too.

The liquid Vigoro W&F with the hose attachment works quicker (results in 24-48 hours) but the fertilizer only lasts about 7-10 days, where the broadcast Turf Builder feeds over time, usually 4-6 weeks. Maintaining your lawn on that schedule "should" help to mitigate your broadleaf weed issues.

It might be time for a barn yard cat. Having lived in the Adirondacks I've witnessed what the mice can do. Try some mice poison.

I'm a bird fanatic.....(Bird nut to many) Birds of prey grab mice. Poisoned mice end up getting fed to young hatchlings. So....I'm not a big fan of poison.

Here's a trick that (A) kills mice and (B) DOESN'T kill birds. Get a plastic bucket.....virtually any size. Put about an inch or so of wheat base wallpaper paste (mixed with water) in the bottom. Mice are attracted to the smell, get IN the bucket and cannot get out. They cannot digest the paste. It kills 'em in short order. It is NOT toxic and the birds aren't harmed.

You'll get em. These were a gift for my lady friend. The deer was killed in north Fl. Your meal sounds delicious also. Hope you're healing up Chris.

i would appreciate input on this. i found a truck cap on craig's list it is a "Jayson" brand white to match truck and it has a expedition rack on top. he's asking $750 for it. idk enough about them to know if it's a good deal or wait and find a different brand later maybe a better deal
