I dont remember if it's the OR package or towing package, but mine has the factory HO alternator. Can't remember, 130 amp?

I'd think all the trd models with the factory inverters had a higher output alternator...I'm not 100% sure though.

Technically it is the factory HO alternator but I wasn't sure if I needed extra amps. After talking with Steve about my set up.. We came to the conclusion it is my 2 month old Northstar battery. Any of the AGMs that were sold during the GB are going to be overcharged and break the glass mats inside the battery.. Most likely what happened to mine.

Our trucks alternator's put out max voltage constantly but the battery can only be cycle charged and has a max charge voltage of 13.8V which is less than our alternator's put out and that's why my system failed.

Swapped in my old 27F that is made for automotive use and viola! Everything works and is charging as it should.

Going to contact the supplier and see what he has to say since it is only a matter of time until others run into this problem.

Better is often the enemy of good enough.

I often chuckle to myself reading threads here and on T4R, guys replacing perfectly good factory stuff with aftermarket stuff and then having problems leading them to replace more stuff.

thats kind of the "exit" to one section of trails. I'm sure you could hit it the other way, but it'd be a challenge

the entance is 39.346249, -82.718592. but you have to go through a creek and someones yard

I'm just letting it be known. Tacomas wouldn't do well on the tar hollow trails unless you have 35's and a lot of offset

Probably to keep the sides from denting up the side of the truck.

The trails are huge washouts. 10ft deep in spots. You are constantly side biting into walls, not using the tread of the tires. If your in a truck, you risk smashing the sides of it in. A jeep is really the ideal vehicle

    BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
Yeah I have heard the stories of the old days, I only started going last year(because that's when I moved here), the start of the season was Sunday and maybe 30-40 cars would show, then they swapped to Saturday nights and it blew up growing more each week. This past Saturday was the most I have ever seen, to the point where the parking garage was full. That's a lot of cars.
