20160507_204420.jpg Does anyone have the Bluetooth app installed and working? I dowloaded the app but it wont open without linking to an existing switchpro...I want to preview the interface before I purchase. Would lIke to see what it looks like first. Going to use (hopefully) an old moto x I have lying around mounted with a ram ball, dedicated just for this app. . I found this image on the apple appstore, does it work in landscape/ Android?

As much as I would like to scoop one of those 3d printed surrounds for the center console/ shifter spot, my dog would be stepping all over it!

What phone do you have? I cant connect via my Samsung S6 running the newest version of Android... even though the guy at SwitchPro said his works. I tried my Note 2 and it worked. used it to program it.. havent touched it since. its clunky, slow, not convenient. just good for programming IMO.

I don't have the switchpro yet, the image in my post was a screen grab from the Apple store..I'm sorry to hear that you are having connectivity problems with an andriod device as that was what I planned to use. That the interface is clunky and slow with your note 2 is discouraging, I was hoping to use an old moto x on ram ball, in landscape.. sort of imagined the layout looking like the hardware, filling the screen with big buttons that work immedately...
So yes @XPOTRPR , looks like it's a flushmount for me unless I hear differently ASAP...

by slow and clunky.. i mean just compared to the actual switches. start up time, connecting, then your good. using the buttons on the app is kinda nice, its almost an instantaneous switch. you can customize what the buttons say which is nice. It doesnt rotate for me though. I just think the app needs some tlc and it could be pretty awesome. but I just use the switches. just easier and more convenient.

just let me know! I can get one out Monday.

I just programmed mine through my iPhone, and I'm pretty sure you need the SP-8100 installed and powered up to run the app. The phone downloads settings every time you load the app and switch between set-up screens. So I don't think you can get a preview. It looks pretty much like the picture you posted though. And as Moose posted, the interface does not switch/rotate when you rotate the phone to landscape.

Also, if your phone connects to your radio via Bluetooth first, then that will block the connection to the SP-8100.

Such an awesome product. Sadly I don't have the funds for this, wish it was more in the $200 price range.

    Mechanical relays for me!

can snag one thats on sale!

the ease of install, use, and the extra features make the price point easier to digest.

I was getting prices for a switch panel, OTRATTW switches, etc.. and wasnt too far off from a Switchpro.

I've priced out a BUSSMAN panel and Chinese carling switches off eBay and it came down to less than $100. Of course I already have plenty of primary wire and cross link wire on hand and have experience building wiring harnesses.

    that's not bad then.

you get some benefits from the Switchpro though. programming, features, ease of swapping labels/accesories, wiring/install

yes, I have done the mods
You're in the same boat as me. Others in this thread have noted the Switchpro panels sold on autoanything, which has periodic 20% off sales. When the next one comes along, I'll be getting my switch panel.

When I ran the numbers between getting rocker switches, the panel, wire, connectors, relays, fuses, none of which I have hanging around, it was coming out to a couple hundred bucks. Factor in the hours and hours I'd have to spend to wire up everything, as I'm no electrical pro and would be half-learning it as I go along, the switchpro panel becomes worth it. Programming via app just becomes a bonus, and it's way easier to modify stuff if I switch lights and accessories around down the road.
