You know the food is bad when vinegar is added as an ingredient to spice it up a little bit.

 

You really have to like fish/seafood and be okay with odd textures.

Non Sequitur- I drove an Ecoboost Mustang over the weekend. She had some serious scoot for a little 4-banger once the boost kicked in. Passed somebody in a 55 because they were doing 50, and even though we were doing 50 when I pulled out to pass we were tickling 90 once I got by them. Didn't even have it in Sport mode.

 

Those Ecoboost motors are actually quite good. My cousin is on his second (F150) and he's been happy. And that says a lot since he's usually a total bitch bag about his vehicles.

 

Had one as a rental for a few weeks in Cali - great car with surprisingly lots of potential. Threw a cobb tuner on it and had a local shop buddy tweak it a bit for some more loss of traction. I wouldn't mind one but it just didn't hang in the mountains as well as I was hoping. Great straight line car none the less.

 

Some people seem to love them, others have told me to stay away from them.

 

I have the 3.5L ecoboost in my F150 and I can say without a doubt it is one of the best engines I have driven (have had quite a number of vehicles too). Thing absolutely screams when you step on it, but is very civil for around town driving. As Ludacris would say, "A lady in the streets but a freak in the bed"

 

It's a cool engine but I'd really miss the sound of that big ole V8 just humming along. I love the noise the V8s make.

 

My wife LOVES the malt vinegar fries and has to have them anytime we go to a fair or amusement park

 

There is no replacement for good ole displacement.. Gotta luv a car that barely idles and smokes 3 or more gears!​

 

I just got mine (a Hero 3+ Silver) as a refurb from Ebay. The seller is an authorized GoPro refurb retailer. It's worked flawless for me, and I paid $168 shipped for it.
