Eh, fugh it. For the price I might as well pick a few up for the sides of my roof rack. 2 uses from how I see it: 1) setting up camp at night; and 2) so passengers can see out the side windows during night runs. It's time to work on electrical mods meow.

Tried that stuff too. No dice. Already working on my next idea. Might have to come down to an impact gun though.

Let me see a picture of what you're working with when you get the chance. Close up and far away. I'm a Navy engineer. A pit snipe. In the middle of the ocean where we haven't seen land in months we get creative in massive engine rooms with often little clearance.

Yes and those small bolts are just sitting there loosely from past fails. Its the middle bolt that won't budge.

My Craftmans set has both 19 and 12 in 3/8. I've got the 19 in 1/2 (12 point unfortunately) and I also have a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter so I can pretty much get any configuration I want going

ill shoot you a pm when I get to work in the am with detailed instructions. Do you have a drill and a 2.5 ft fence post? Gonna need a set of drill bits to get through that post and some heat. A simple hand torch a cook would use.

Drill check. Torch check. Fence post no check. I assume you're talking about those hollow metal ones right?
