    Hello to all
I finally was able to afford my first 2008 tacoma pre runner.
I have gad it for 6 months and now just turned 78000 miles. About a 1000 miles before started having shuddering issues when shifting from second to 3rd gear. Took it to dealer and diagnosed to be torque convertor problem. Of course not in warranty but I did call toyota to ask if they would assets. I know it is out of warranty but only had 78000 miles and since being a toyota should of last a lot longer but their answer was no but I have a call in to manager. Overall I'm happy with my tacoma hope they will asset. Has anyone experience the same repair for this condition?

Well we decided to go ahead and change out the transmission fluid. I picked it up today but still shuddering at low steady speed. 250 dollars oh well I'll just live with it until I can save up for a new torque convertor
