May have picked up a grey SM front fender for $25

Still wishing to convert to all grey plastics with my gold accents

 

Finally got my old 98 KLX 300 going the way I wanted it to. Got my new manual timing chain tensioner in, put some new grips on, modded the shift star to stop it from hitting false neutrals, and put a DOT legal rear tire on it. I had never changed a dirt bike tire before, so that took forever. But it's done now finally. Just been beating it around on my families property lately but hoping to get it legal soon. And also finally figured out how it likes to be started. It's fussy about it but if you do it right it'll start 1st kick. It cleaned up decent for a 98 as well, won't win any shows by any means but it's fun.

Seriously late getting to work on this for this season.

 

Finally had a day off to get out on the bikes. Did a couple mile loop at a local riding spot, all I can say is Holy Shit is the 690 a monster... Its a pretty heavy bike for someone my size, but its soooo smooth through the sand and carries me up everything I tried to climb. Initially I had some buyers remorse, and was thinking I should have went with the 500EXC, but after some time in the dirt my purchase was reassured big time haha.

TST Industries front flushmount clear lens LED signals with harness connectors are on. LED flasher relay is in and works this time. So stoked to have four working turn signals that all flash at the proper rate and are bright as fuck.

 

Those harness conectors are worth every penny too
