Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
I think it's because he's a big volume seller...and he knows what he's doing. That's what I took from it...

Did you lift it at all? I picked up an almost identical truck last Friday and I share your enthusiasm. Mine was ordered mid January. I'm jealous of your hat, but I negotiated free window tint that's getting installed Friday. Your truck looks great!

Here's a picture of her twin sister (7545 6MT - no tech package). I'll bet they went down the assembly line together, but I live a lot closer to San Antoniosoccertruck.jpg

Do you need to know, or care?
Glad you found what you want and a salesman who was top notch in his field. Unfortunately, finding a knowledgable sales person can be rare experience nowadays, so congrats on the truck and the experience. Good to hear! Hope you have many years of great enjoyment.

It's much better. You can actually control your transmission. That being said, I guess there is a "logic update" they're going to apply to the 2016s w auto soon...that's supposed to help w tranny issues....the manual revs at about 2200 RPMs at 65 mph. Not too bad...the auto is at about 1800 RPMs at the same speed...

Dean is the man!! I drove 6hrs to pick up the exact same Tacoma except mine is a LB auto.
The only problem I have now is my 3 local dealerships service department sucks ass.. Wish I was
closer to Ohio West so i could use them for my service.
    Enjoy Sandy!!!

Where have you seen this supposed update? Is there any official source in writing? I've been hearing about an update for transmission for months now. Nothing has materialized and my dealer said he has heard no such thing.

Not a fan of that automatic tranny at all. Too many issues. Swapped em out. This time, went w the color and transmission I wanted originally. The key is finding the right dealer / salesman. Made a huge difference. Very happy...thanks!!
