Thanks for the link. That looks like a pretty sweet deal, especially with their 5% off coupon.

I'm still waiting on a quote from Wheelers, maybe they can do a similar package.

I need to hear real world reviews before throwing down the extra $ , as some said you can get a well respected icon or fox high tier setup for less... so cmon someone buy these!!!!! Didn't see the 5% off but website has ad for 150$ rebate from ARB for purchase of suspension kit... so around 3k comes w UCAs....it's plug and play so have a friend or two help put it in, get alignment, then report back here so we can hear how they feel!

What Icon or Fox setups are you comparing these to?

I don't think you can get bypass shocks with adjusters for less, but maybe I'm wrong.

I've had issues with Icons repeatedly leaking in the past, so I'm avoiding them this time around.

I've considered both King and Fox but the setups I checked weren't much less than these.

Looking now, you are right, @Blackouts they are priced pretty closely, so not much difference in price really. the fox level 2 has adjustable option but with AAL instead of full leaf pack, EDIT comes with dakar, and with total chaos uniballs comes in at 2900$.. I guess the value in my mind comes from a well known product over a untested one... there hasn't even been any 4x4 magazine or online reviews, I've only seen installs so far..

Eh, my understanding was all the testing ARB does/was doing is what caused the delay in releasing the BP-51 kit for the Tacoma. And it's not exactly like ARB/OME is some fly-by-night company, my impression is they make quality products and seem to be pretty well regarded by most people.
I'd expect the BP-51 stuff to be GTG straight outta the box. Just my opinion.

For the most part that looks true... The only things I see as a shortcoming are that they don't include a UCA (some resellers do) and things like a carrier bearing drop and extended brake lines aren't included in the kits.... Maybe I'm just used to Jeeps where you buy a kit that's fully ready to go, but those things not being included is a bit of a letdown for me.

I agree, it'd be nice if that stuff was included.

We're Tacoma guys, we don't need spoon fed. You can get the excluded parts from different vendors cheaper, and on the b/s/t threads even cheaper. Leave the all inclusive spoon feeding the the other guys.

I went ahead and ordered a BP-51 kit from ok4wd.com - can't beat the free UCA offer.

Uniball UCA's should be used on this setup, rather than ball joints.

Why would the SPC ball joint UCA's be an issue?

They're not if torqued correctly. I run them, bent my spindle and the balljoint didn't slide..

I've run a few different OME setups and compared to others I've often found them to be very stiff, just wanting to hear others feedback before diving in. Some of the setups I've had in the past were a bit bone-jarring, performed great at speed on dirt, not so much when travelling at lower speeds, looking around on the 'net I can only find install vids for the BP-51s. Between my 06 and my 07 had a total of 5 different configurations some all OME some not some mixed, for my virgin 2015 I want to "buy once cry once" ..

Nice! Can't wait for your feedback ... install, pics/ etc .... I'm pulling trigger on my setup within couple weeks I did see a 150$ rebate from ARB for full suspension kit which this would seem to definitely qualify for.

I could be wrong, but I think that offer is expired.
