    Finally got around to fixing my horrendous oil leak this weekend. Yay for 2.7 sump weld rust :/ Nice not having the taco mark its territory on every parking space I go to for a change. At least everyone knows my parking spot at work :D

    Twin sequential turbos, rotating triangles not pistons(rotary engine).
    2800 lbs and about about 300 hp now (but not max tuned and never will be for the larger secondary injectors)

    I'll try the goo gone again. Honestly, its mostly just the weird outline now.
    I tried some more acetone after the wheel. Honestly the goo-gone felt similarly cold when applying it.
    Ahh, scratch-x is Meguiars...

    Yeah the outline looked to be dirty and scratched in place with mine. The scratch x took it right off. It was amazing

    Yeah that is exactly how mine was - rubbed some of these onto the area and it noticeably went away

    they will ride stiffer than a c rating. I run them with the extra cab at about 30 psi and they aren't bad.

    Thanks for the help. I may go with the total chaos. The ball joints failing has always been a worry of mine. And we don't get much snow here in the south.

    Oh yeah, I didn't even notice it.

    Better a garage queen than irresponsibly driving while it's got functional issues.

    I've heard a lot of defense for heavy and light flywheels. My Taco is my first manual, so I haven't had experience with different weights. Unless I were tracking a car often, I can't see why I'd want a light flywheel though. Especially in a twin-turbo. Seems like you'd be building more boost from a stop just to overcome the lightness of the flywheel.

    163? That's absurd. Even if I had a vehicle that could go that fast, I don't know if I'd be able to bring myself to go anywhere near that fast. Sounds like a fun car, though. Perhaps one day I'd get to drive one. Or at least see one.


    This stuff is works. At least for other uses. Most Meguiar's I've used is good. If Goo Gone didn't work, this would definitely be my next choice.

    nope, only rubbing on the rear flares and on the windshield washer reservoir. nothing else. I'm keeping them, and it will motivate me to regear sooner than later...lol

    The flywheel was when I thought I might track it. I never did, and it is more of a pain having to keep the revs up when shifting now.
    When I get the time and feel it a priority, I will correct that.

    As for 163. Well. The power is very smooth. But I wont be doing that again.
    And if you do get to drive one, get used to the turbo transition on straights, so you know when it comes on. Roughly, its nothing until 3K then the first one comes in, then at about 5K the second one comes in. You don't want to be getting on it on a curve and then have the second turbo kick in on you.

    Yeah, that scratch-x is great. It worked like a champ on some scratches.
    I also used it on the faded parts where the double stick tape was holding the window shades on (after removing the tape). It cleaned it right up, with elbow grease.

    It isnt affecting the outlines as posted, I will have to try goo gone again tomorrow.

    Yeah, uniball uppers, like the TCs, will help with caster for sure but may not help with camber. Certainly no direct help.

    Camber is adjusted at the LCA cam bolts. Altho, if the alignment tech had to sacrifice some camber to try to get the caster better, having the additional 2 degrees the UCAs will give you will help with the camber.

    It really depends on how bad the camber is. Do you have an info sheet from the last alignment that shows what they set it at?
