    Alright so finals are done
    :bananadead:

Which means I had time to install some newer TRDBilsteins (thanks to @Grey 2015)

Also now I can bother you guys about setting up a local meet (besides the occasional driveway or Burger King Parking lot)

I'm not sure if I should make a new Thread or not since it is in South Florida and we are BS'ing :notsure:

    Anywho.....

I propose we grab some food somewhere but I have 2 questions
    1) Whats a good time generally for you (Friday, Sat, Sun)
    2) Would you rather do Dinner or Lunch

    I'll go first
    1) I can do Friday or Saturday with either Lunch/Dinner and Sun only with Dinner
    2) Lunch

Think dinner on a weekend would be best for everyone. I work away from home but when I am home I'm availible pretty much whenever.

Have not been in here for a bit. About the only time I think TacomaWorld is when some guy is laying their horn trying to get my attention...

This guy that says he has seen some of these trucks around town, he needs to know it was not me and there is no proof.

If you do a meetup locally, send a pm so I don't need to go looking for it.

No plans to off-road until I get another set of tires. Sold those bad ass Mud Terrains and went back to oem tires. Getting an increase of about 50 miles more er tankful just with a tire swap. Still has the poser look with the BAMF sliders, Avid guards front and rear so it's not too naked.

I do need to spend some time doing a trans fluid flush and refill, maybe replace the front shock lower bearings and apply more corrosion prevention compound to the frame. Want to install a Flowmaster also, it should be pretty sweet with the already installed DTLT headers and URD Y pipe. No cats is the way to go...

Dan let me know when they plan to meet up.

Not sure, but there was a time they were sought after. Most of us have removed them before something off-road removed them for us. Or they were removed for tire clearance.

Honestly, if you take the time and carefully trim them shorter they look pretty good.

As possibly the elder spokesman here with a South Florida born and raised daughter that may be older than most of you and three grandkids, the statement of "That's just the start" is true beyond your wildest dreams.

I know they sold it. That grumpy old man from the original group was a trip. For a long time they were the best. My last vehicle done there about 12 years ago they kind of did not get right and cost me a lot. I purchased a Quick Trick alignment tool set and did the Tacoma myself after some suspension mods. I would like to swap out the lower A arm pivot cams for real bolts and realign it at some point. The truck is set high enough that it is pretty easy to work on without a pit.

The downside to an alignment shop is they may only align to factory specs. I set the camber with no positive camber and matched castor on both sides. Toe in was easy.

Spotted today west bound on Glades Road coming up on the turnpike. Anyone on here? Wasn't going to post but noticed he had the letters blacked out on his tailgate. Not everyday I see a fellow 3rd Gen 4x4 down here!

I usually drive that way when I'm going North to go home but I'm in an 2nd gen RC with a 4ft antenna behind the cab...makes it easy to spot lol

It was way too hard to pronounce/remember so I figured a change would help >___<

Okay, so where can us 2WD guys go to get our trucks dirty?
I just found out I have Saturday off and I'd love to take my boy out and play in the mud, but not have to leave my truck stuck in the woods when we go home.
