I think my wife is planning for the beach but we'll see how that pans out. Quick glance at weather shows rain up there on Friday. You sure he'll be open?

URE is about an hour extra drive time for me and I've always wanted to go there. You should plan a trip there some time since it isn't dependent on weather.

The only thing about it raining at URE is it turns into a slippery clay turtle shit mess. You will probably get some damage if you are whilin' out. Open diffs will make it but it's tough. Steering and braking turns to "I hope it works before I hit this tree"

You can never plan ahead on gulches. It's the place that you go when you wake up in the morning, call your buds, and just go (if it didn't rain).

I do get why Skip shuts down though...

There's a Fanta car around here that I saw recently. When did this become a thing?

Tacomas are better than Jeeps. Point in case Rocky Mtn Loop hill climb in the rain at URE, 2 Jeeps stuck for like an hour, our line of tacomas/toyota pickup/4runner make it up no issues immediately after they tuck tail.
