    JLee: Any update on how the other colors are coming along? I thought after seeing the initial prototype that white would be one of the first colors available. Guess I should have known that wasn't my luck, haha. These are looking fantastic though so I am going to be a patient grasshopper while waiting.

    Yeah that white in the picture is rattle can paint I still haven't heard anything on the other colors.

    Jerry,

    It sounds like you're as much in the dark as we are on a timeline for the colors. We are 60+ days past when we were told they would ship and 100 days since we ordered.

    Is there a date you plan to move forward if you don't hear anything on the colors? I'd prefer to take a black backplate and get my grille in a reasonable amount of time vs not get it in the foreseeable future.

    If I can't get the grille by 01 July, I'd like to opt for a black one. I don't mind rattle-canning the plate if necessary.

    Thanks again for the updates and I hope you hear something soon... I'm sure this is as equally frustrating for you.

    I never said there was a ship date on these I had plans on when I wanted too ship but things change when it comes to a new product.
    You guys know everything I know when it comes to the colors.

    We are building the rest of the grilles to 90% and waiting for powders to show to coat the backing plates when that will happen I don't know that this point. I'll post up here as soon as we have some more black grilles done so that if anyone just wants to switch to black we can ship those out.

    I'm guessing that when you finally do start shipping, have colors in hand and can give solid shipping estimates you will get a flood of orders. I'd like to order an all black with white "Toyota" lettering but don't know how far off that will be at this point so I am holding off for now. I hope this backlog doesn't discourage you from continuing to building these grills.

    In all honesty with the amount of orders coming in on these I'm not sure if they will ever be "in stock". If so they will be gone as fast as I can change the stock amount on the site.
