image.jpg Installed the Magnaflow 19291 cat back. Sounds throaty. Like it. One hour install. it was pretty straight forward.
And that ladies and gentlemen is the last mod to my truck. I started in December and have learned a lot from this thread and others. Very happy with the final results.
After 36 years on the job I am set to retire in 143 days. So need to put away as much $$$$ as I can. Packing up and moving out of New England and moving to Southern California. Thinking San Diego or Irvine area. So thanks to all of you and your great mods. And rrentrop for taking my money. Only purchase regret was the Coverking neoprenes. Should have got the Clazzios from the start. They make the interior look first class.
Was thinking about traveling around the country for a couple months checking folks ATF, differentials, U bolt torque, grease a few zerks, and plug holes in LCAs. I would make a mint. JK.
Can't wait to meet up with all the Southern California Taco owners and buy you a beer. image.jpg

Not sure if you would know, but does this do any re-routing? I have seen a few posts about the exhaust being routed weird and being lower than it should be, just wondering if this catback would solve that problem and the problem of my truck sounding like a prius.

The dealership finished by 1pm. Not too bad.

But They over filled my tires. Rated at 29psi according to the sticker on the door jam. But after i chalked them i started running 32psi... They filled them to 37... Guess I'll go let some air out now...

Looks good! Hopefully you stashed away plenty if you moving to SoCal.
 Looking good! Hopefully you stashed away plenty if your planning on moving to SoCal. If your looking at Irvine as a location, be prepared for tons of traffic and you'll learn to love the 91 freeway... I mean 91 parking lot. Live in socal for 30 years and traffic and rude people go hand and hand.

How about we switch houses Im over socal lol. Safe travels!

No re-routing. Everything hooks up into the stock hangers. Goes in just like stock. i agree about the sound. I didn't want the Suzuki 500 sound or the drone in the cab. No complaints so far. Starts up with a nice rumble. Cruising speed you can hear it, but it sounds good IMHO. No regrets on the purchase. Got it for $508 including shipping, at hottexhaust.com with the promo code. (now expired) Had it to my door in ten days. About $170 cheaper than anywhere else I looked. Google hottexhaust promo codes they may have another.

About halfway done welding my headache rack, will finish the screen on the other side the add tabs to the open ends at the side of the top tube. Basically trying to made it like the second picture. First welding project ever so I'm learning as I go along, :welder:

Yes I do But I am sure it is my imagination being optimistic from romping and playing with the acceleration to see what sound I get. From the research I did and chatting it up with those much more knowledgeable in such matters, at best you might get 2-3 more ponies. Even Magnaflow won't give a number. They just say "improved HP" on dyno testing.

I actually ended up taking it to the dealer for them to do it. There are 5 pins on each that aren't to hard to get off, but there is also a clip that is kinda hidden that looked like a pain in the ass, and I didn't want to break the clip getting it off.

Dealer was able to swap them without dropping the whole bumper, but agreed that the clip on each side sucked

You are retiring and moving to Irvin Southern, CA. You must not need to worry about saving, usually we move out of this area since it cost a arm and a leg to live in Orange County.
