Everything looks good and is tight up front, anyone else had an issue like this yet? A creaking/groaning noise more often when wheel is turned in either direction as well as when breaking going forward and back, more often when the wheel is turned but not always. I had my mechanic take a quick look at it when I had the needle bearing replaced to the ECGS bushing and he said we will keep an eye on it but everything looks fine...I don't think its the brakes, because it makes the noise when I'm off them, but usually occurs when i am breaking, I'm thinking because that makes the truck rock a little. No noise at higher speeds. I've had so many issues with this truck so far, its frustrating.

Leaf springs, or one of the suspension / steering bushings maybe?

Check the heat shield for the front brakes. It's flimsy metal. It did this on my 2nd gen

What am I looking for on the heat shield exactly?

My heat shield somehow got bent and would rub my rotor on right hand turns. take off your front wheel and you can look to see if the shield is bent and in contact with anything.

The lower control arm bolt is where my creaking was coming from. I shot it with some tri-flow lub no more creaking.

Put in Fox Stage 1 lift kit, and tires got the vibes and put in the ECGS bearing. Vibes are gone, I'm pretty sure the creak was present before I swapped my suspension but its gotten worse...I was just wondering if any other members had and any issues. I'm going to try what @ColoradoTaco suggested.

ECGS bushing the same as 2nd Gen. I need to order one. How much did your mech charge to install it? If my research is correct it goes on the driver's side only?

Thanks sorry for the thread jack.

Mine creeks some does not bother me.

^ try this. I'm a 2nd gen but I have major squeaking/creaking from multiple sources after getting the truck very wet and muddy. I bought some tri-flow dry lube and white lithium lube. Also ordered a needle adapter for a grease gun to get grease into those rubber boots. Basically going to lube anything that moves in the front end suspension and steering.

Yes any wear it will drip between the bolts. Let us know what does the trick. Might help someone else down the road.
