    Thanks in advance, guys.

I'm going to be ordering a set of AP Expo Leaf Springs hopefully today. I'll eventually be doing a u-bolt flip at some point, as well as a BAMF rear shock relocate. However, I need to run my rig with the stock rear shock location intact until I can mock up the relocate kit and get measurements for new rear shocks. This leads me to the following questions:

    1. I think that I'll need a new set of 'stock' config u-bolts that are long enough to accommodate the Expo pack thickness. I don't want to reuse the stock u-bolts, based on what I've read here. I found a set from Toytec, and they recommend 7.5" for OME springs. They also have them in 9". Can anyone running Expos on a 1st Gen without a flip let me know what length to grab?
    2. I'm guessing that the stock shocks may not be so good to run with the new Expos. Is anyone running Bilsteins in the stock locations with these springs, and if so, what shock length are you running?
That's all that I can think of for now. Thanks again for the assist!

    Hey there,
I have a Expo set that I picked up from a buddy along w/longer u-bolts. Sadly though I don't know what length they are. I'm sure someone here will know the answer to that. As for the shock, I run Bilstein 10" in the stock location with an extended bumpstop. I actually have some Bilstein 5125 in the f/s section that might work for your configuration. They are 8"/8.5". I believe All-Pro sells their leafs kits w/Bilstein 9.5" but I'm not 100% sure on that.

    Thanks, Mario!

That's good info. I'll keep digging on the U-bolt length issue, and I'll check out your FS post. The Billies would be a temporary thing anyway, until I get the relocate kit welded in and make some measurements.

    Thanks again!

I've pinged Tracy and Sam, and they're working on it on their end as well. Tracy has been great to work with on the last few things I've ordered from them. We'll get it figured out, I'm sure. I just want to make sure I get the right length on the U-bolts :D

I'll check out your FS post here in a few!
