Kind of feels like the wheel is hopping a little when you take off quick.

Called the dealership to have them order my recall leaf's...Said they should have them in 5-10 business days and will call me to schedule the work when they come in.

Anyone know if Toyota will reimburse me for after market leafs? My stock leafs broke before they came up with the "fix".

It feels like a "thunk" from behind.
Usually you'll feel it when stopping completely or accelerating from a complete stop.
First time it happened to me I thought someone had nudged the back of my truck at a stop light.

It's literally when your axle twist because of worn shock absorbers

Edit: I've seen a video that explains how axle wrap can also be caused by worn rear shocks. I'll post it when I find it.

Edit 2: found it skip to 2 min and 5 min for the good stuff but the whole video is a good watch

    Too few to list.
You might want to tighten your u-bolts to 75ft lbs. I'm sure the dealership only tightened to specs which is really low from what I can remember.

The recall letters say that there will be a process to file a claim if you paid out of pocket for leafs. However they won't have info on that until they finalize a solution, which hasn't happened yet.

You might want to check anyways as the FSM only calls for like 37 ft lbs on U-Bolts which most feel is too low. I haven't seen the TSB instructions for leaf springs but I think they could be torquing to this amount. Tightening them down to at least 75 ft lbs can eliminate the "thunk".

Yea I checked em a few months ago when someone on tacomaworld pointed it out. They were tightened then too. Previous owner must've taken care of it. Thanks though
