Ok, for anyone in Louisiana waiting for springs... I stopped by the local parts department the other day to get a filter. This is a dealership I used to work at, so I kind of know people there.

The parts rep said Toyota is finally making the springs available for order. He said they ordered ten sets, but have no idea when they might come in, if at all. So take it for what it's worth, but at least it seems like the remedy might actually happen this year the southern states.

Well, so much for my 2 hour job. Didn't hear anything from them so I called. They said they were trying to get ahold of me. With some old random number. Anyway, they're blaming FedEx for not delivering the parts yet. Supposed to come in this morning. So now I might not get it back until tomorrow. I wouldn't mind if it was something that's supposed to take that long. But they shouldn't of made the appointment without having the parts. Oh well. If they call me back and say it has to stay till tomorrow. I will be politely accepting a front end alignment for my inconvenience on there dime! :D

@lashingbar dont count on it taking only a week to get the parts, I've been waiting since after I had the initial inspection done on 4/16 for the parts to come in, so the dealer here in Vegas can replace my springs

Well ain't this some shit, got a call from the dealership that my new springs will be here Thursday, and I'm leaving town early that morning for work, so of course I'm going to be out of town, the dealership dosent want the loaner to leave the city, so I said fine, if y'all will pay for a rental, they said no, I said that I have no choice but to take the loaner out of town then, I may see if I can get corporate to pay for some of the rental then, and I'll have to tell all my friends about the crappy staff at this dealership

Called another city to see and they said it takes about 3 weeks to get them because Toyota is making the leaf springs to order. Idk about that but i really want to get my AAL in to level out my truck

I got my letter in the mail yesterday and it says that they will inspect and replace if necessary. I thought everybody was getting new leaf springs, has anybody not gotten new springs as of yet? Also, I've got 2+1 now, will they put on the 3+1 packs?

New springs on. Alignment done. Measures exactly the same both sides as with old springs. Including half inch lower taco lean on drivers side.

I had mine inspected months ago and despite having approval to move ahead with the repair the dealership here in Missouri said they can no longer get the part and it is on back order again.

Well I hope mine doesn't take a month. They have been noisy for a year and now the shocks are blown and I keep hitting my bump stops when I go over tracks and bumps. I don't wanna replace the shocks till they change the stupid springs. Grr!

I've been holding off replacing my shocks along with doing the rear differential breather mod till after the springs get changed

King 2.5" extended travel coilovers with compression adjusters, Camburg UCA's, King 2.5" rear shocks, TRD 1st gen CAI.
I go in for inspection tomorrow morning. Hope they don't give me any crap for having King's...

Has anyone been denied the leaf springs?

I don't see why having king shocks would matter
