Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
My 2013 Taco TRD OffRoad was a 6 speed manual and it was the best vehicle I ever owned. Figured I could not go wrong. Loved everything about the 2016 I had except the automatic, the key FOB, and really wanted a "Quicksand" model...so it was a win for me...I'll never look back. It's awesome.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Haha i have been waiting too.

Im really curious what the difference is. I suspect it is very close to the difference between n/a and supercharged 2nd gen.

^ I've only been able to do that to a 2016 Colorado out in Ocotillo Wells that was grannying it over a part of the trailhead that Prius' were literally driving over. Since I was coming the opposite direction at 25mph and it was only a single "lane" trail, I just gunned it around him into the rocks and bushes just to let him know whose truck was king out there.

I wouldn't sit on a dick for the experience. To each their own haha

Seriously though, interested in your review per say after the trip.

I will not own one any time soon haha, but come 6 or 7 years from now we will see what the next one i buy is.

I have always hated mustangs, except first gen. Now i have to admit i have a soft spot for the newest version. Thinking about a shelby gt350 r in the orange to match my truck next.

But then i have a few old yotas, and i have really been thinking about a slammed, mini tub 2wd (all mine are 4wd) with around 900 ponies.. in some original paint job. Along the lines of the farm truck except yota, and yota power (supercharged 1uz) as a toy. Maybe depending on the condition of this truck in 6 years or so i will spend 30k building a toy and keep my DD. Only time will tell.

Should be a blast to embarrass the fuck out of the Camaro's, Mustangs, Challengers etc around here driving like ass hats with the 26 inch rims and shit.

Hey the undercarriage of the prius is probably just as stout as the Colorado lol

Yeah, I hate those things. My 2014 Corolla was a 6M and had the push button start, so they do put them in manuals. It was a pleasant surprise when I found out the Taco didn't have it.

So far 2500 miles no issues at all with the manual or the truck.

Automatics.... more gears more problems i.e. Jeep Cherokee nine speed (lol) too it is made by Fiat (Farfetched Italian Auto Troubles).

I too had a 2015 corolla S plus. Every option. 6 speed manual. It was a hell of a good car and really nice for the money. The push button didn't bother me in the car but I would HATE IT IN A TRUCK

But it was a baby back bitch! Slowest thing I have ever owned. I am positive my 93 ford festiva was faster (not really)

I traded the rolla on a 2015 rav4 and the rav4 is an excellent little family mobile.

Yeah, I bought a 2015 Canyon and was out of it the second the 2016 Tacos were available (7 months). At least you bought a Taco the first time, even if if didn't end up working out. I was dumb enough to try switching to GM after 5 Toyotas.

I had a loaded S Plus too. Mine was a 2 year lease. It was gutless, and the reverse gear was way too high. Nice little car, though. I kind of wish I'd bought it at the end of the lease for a second car.

Hahah no way, supercharged 2nd gen will smoke a 3rd gen any day. Crank is 300hp vs what 282hp? so realistically they are at like 250 hp to the wheel and mine is probably 260-270 and NA performance mods rarely net much, so my mods on an NA 3rd gen, ill say 270hp tops to the wheels where im at 300 easily and going up more lol.

Think you might be surprised by the manual 3rd gen with the right driver.

I have been impressed when I run mine to redline and shift. It scoots right along. My only problem is the RPMS hang badly when trying to drive it hard. It makes catching the next gear slow sometimes. I've never had this issue with my past 4 bangers. What am I doing wrong?

Guess I don't notice this coming from a truck with a 120# flywheel, clutch, pressure plate combined weight. Southbend dual disk clutch behind a 5.9 Cummins.

Jesus lol. I went with the 18# lightweight and the Stage 3. Was pretty close to getting the twin disk but was told I wouldn't be able to offroad with it lol. And with how much lack of slippage there is with the stage 3, I sometimes wish I went with the stage 2

If I was gonna do it again I probably would have kept the stock flywheel or got a new one and went with a stage 3 again. Offroad is a bitch sometimes since theres about half an inch of clutch engagement to work with (in the pedal) when trying to crawl up shit lol. Plus side, I can pin it and drop the clutch and that extra SC torque gets me up stuff or makes fun rooster tails as I dig in :D
