I would say this year anything seems possible

I missed OT cause I had to chase a neighborhood dog away, at least I see the Pens won!

 

Fuck, i wanted the pens to lose.

 

I will have a great summer, considering I don't live in a terrible city like Shittsburgh!

 

Same old Caps We never show up for the playoffs. And if the pens don't go with Murray against the lightning they're crazy. That kid was on fire.

 

Rest assured, we will choke again next season. It's been happening for 20+ years, no reason it should change now.

 

Capitals didn't choke. They played hard but were simply beaten. Caps may have finished the regular season at the top of the standings, but Pittsburgh entered the playoffs as the hottest team league-wide. Murray for Fleury was a game changer.

 

How can you say they didn't choke? They crumbled under pressure. Pittsburgh was the hottest team, but there is no reason the Caps couldn't have beaten them. They gave up two easy goals in OT. Holtby let in a lot of easy goals throughout the series. Sure they were "outplayed," but they didn't play up to their potential. Choke!

Well, you know what they say, a bad day fishing...

 

The wagons are burning.

How quickly they are to set their own on fire..
but the jumpers will be back next year because the Caps are the real deal...their fans are poor losers

 

They're the real deal in the regular season. Haven't even reached the conference finals since 1998. I am still on the burning wagon, just tired of being let down year after year. At some point you have got to get frustrated with mediocrity. But, maybe this will be the year that does it. Although statistically, President's Cup winners have a better chance of winning the Stanley the year after they win the Presidents. One more year I guess...

 

I'd have to agree, choking is what the sharks did against the Kings, yet it seems if certain teams lose in the playoffs, no matter how, it's considered choking.

 

Too bad, I was hoping for a game seven. The Beagle save wont be played over and over even though it deserves recognition.
