Need quick recommendations on a 3" lift kit

I know there is a search button and I've seen Ome and toytec as recommended.
My mechanics ran into a problem thankfully with the crappie zone off road 4" lift kit which consisted of nothing but blocks and spacers.
So then my mechanic recommended and already ordered a RevTek 3" lift kit, and I looked and it also consists of nothing but blocks and spacers...

Also my mechanics are the dealership so I'm not sure if they'd agree on getting something like ICON or King w/e those popular kits are...

Any quick recommended links for a great 3" kit would be nice, going to the dealer today to change the order, I don't want revtec and regret it...

Budget is 1500$

 

i love my toytec coilover setup in the front. and my allpro leafs in the rear.

Full OME with 887 coils will put you just about 3" up front and ~2.75" out back. In your budget.

Don't see too much about headstrong off road on here, are they any good?

 

They're one of the more reputable vendors on this site. Not a manufacturer, but a vendor. They sell OME, Bilstein, King, etc.

 

I see, just looking for a kit not vendor. Sorry I didn't specify earlier...

Wheeler's Off Road, Toytec Lifts, Down South Motorsports, and Headstrong Off Road are far and away the most popular lift/suspension vendors on TW. I've personally had great experiences with Wheeler's and Toytec. I can't personally vouch for the others, but they get rave reviews. I would feel confident ordering from all four.

I'm not familiar with Bilstein Lifts. I would go directly through Toytec if you were interested in a Toytec lift.

 

My truck is the shop right though and I'm ordering thru the dealer, I know it's not the best idea but I'm out of options right now

 

So what can they get?

Kind of wasting time asking about things you can't get them to order to begin with, no?

I'd tell them to put my truck back on the ground on factory struts/coils and order something through Headstrong or Toytec yourself. You'll save money and get a better product (than revtek).

Just FWIW, my local dealer would have installed anything I asked them to install. You order what you want, you bring them the parts and pay out the nose, and they put it in.

I'd see if you can go that route as opposed to whatever they're able to buy, I don't have a clue what they can get or from where, but I've never seen a dealership truck that wasn't spacers.

 

It's easier for me for them to order cuz if they mess up or get the wrong parts like they did, then it's on them and I don't have to deal with the return crap...

I haven't read anybody getting incorrect parts from ordering something, except once from Wheeler's Offroad.

Are you still at the dealer? I'd leave, then spend a few days and read a bit and then when you're more aware of things, proceed with ordering.

You seem like you're in a hurry to do anything, but maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Alright lol you guys sold me... I'll try to get 1 on 1 help with someone from headstrong, my main problem is finding a good trust worthy shop in my town.
