@harley100 do you happen to have a part # for the end caps? I have looked and can't find them.
    TIA

Not sure if I am late to reply. BUT...To update the unit, you go through the menu [settings] and you will come to a screen that says "update" or something like it. Your phone has to be paired because it will use your data plan to down load it. If you are an iPhone just check the app store for updates for the app on your phone. I have 3k miles on mine and use the head unit heavily every day. No problems except for the fact that it won't read text messages unless I restart the app and unpair/pair it again. But I text and drive like a rebel. Living on the the edge. :burnrubber:

Search this. Bed Rail End Cap(66134-04010) [TRDParts4U has them for like freaking $8]

I know it is hard to find these rails and parts. Make sure you search "Deck Rail System" that always works for me.

Also, has anyone ever seen the rail system in the Nissan Frontiers? I love my Tacoma (wouldn't trade it for the world) and think Frontiers are ugly but they got something very right with that system. The 2016 has two rails on the side, one rail up front, and two on the floor (that have plastic covers when they aren't in use.) Also, the cleats are aluminum. A fab shop could monopolize on an upgrade for the Tacoma bed. I use the rails nearly every day and I can see the wear and tear getting to the plastic bed cleats.

Part number for the clips is 66134-04010. You will need two of these.

Did you do the vinyl on the side yourself? How hard was it to put on? I've been looking at the same one.

Nope. I left back in 2012. I was around for a year while I was at school obviously, so if you were there them you very well may remember the truck. It didn't have the rollbar when I was there.

    Stock and loving it
laziness. I am also going to put a real valve or filter on the end of the hose so it's easily accessed this way

Ham radio antenna,Firestone Ride-Rite air spring Snug Top topper, and a rifle rack y'all ..Moroso Catch Can, De-badged.
Did the rear axle breather mod this morning, used 8' of 5/16" fuel line and ended with a fuel filter to insure clean air. Toyota part number 90404-51319 about 13.00. Hopefully there won't be any stinky axle fumes coming into the cap otherwise it goes high under the bed or up to the engine bay. UPDATE: I inserted a flexible 5/16" line on top of the filter making a U-turn right back down ending flush with the rear bumper. Any fumes are now out the rear for the enjoyment of pesky tail-gaiters.:brianr: Also mounted the Yaesu ham radio...

Actually no, the couch goes to the end of the tailgate so it would still be about 6" too long for the LB. I wish the LB was 6.5ft though, I would have gotten that for sure.

Can someone give me the quick 101 on why you need to do this? Looks like fun but not sure if I need to do it.
