My front light stays on all the time when I have the "door open" option selected. Even when the doors are closed and I'm driving etc, the light won't go off unless I select the actual off option. Anyone have this issue or know a fix?!

I guess I'm confused. What's the "door open" option?

Isn't it a three position switch? Off, on, and door. In the door position it will be on door open, off door closed. If it is not doing this see your dealer, could be bad switch.

Got it now. When he stated "front lights" I thought he meant headlights, not interior lighting. Agreed, could be a bad switch. I wonder if the lights go out if selecting the ON position (ie: miswired)?

Correct. The switch is in the door position but with the doors closed the light stays on. I'll point the issue out to my dealer.

Just to make sure - you are talking about the switch on the ceiling between the lights and not the switch by your left knee (which is the cargo light).

Correct. Switch in the ceiling in the front of the truck. By the sunroof controls on a limited model.

@jfresh_441 did you try what @aggie77 said about checking for backwards wiring. See if it works with doors open/closed when in the on position? Has it been doing this since day one or did it all of a sudden do this? Did you make any changes, such as led lights in the interior?

Anyone having problems with thier radio? I have a JBL radio and it keeps reseting. I took it to the dealer and they said the software is up to date and there is nothing they can do till toyota comes out with an update.

I love it when people come out with a worst case scenario, heart-wrenching story to support their point of view.
Yah, we get it but that in no way supports the crap that, for example, we have to deal with concerning the entune head units.

I thought pushing in on the volume knob shut the system off ... so yes i guess if it's off then the sound is muted

It's been doing this from day 1. I'll check to see if it's wired backwards in a sec. No changes to lights such as LED's yet.

This was what was causing the buzzing for me too. I used zip ties since I'm not a fan of electrical tape. Fixed the issue for me.

I haven't experienced any of those noises. The only things I've noticed on my truck were the buzzing under the glove box and the howling from the LCA. Either way, I would look for some semi-flexible ribbed plastic conduit that could be tighter.
