Well I didn't do all this today, but with-in the last few weeks. I de-badged all the chrome badges and dealership tag, I really like the look without the "Tacoma" down the doors, it says Tacoma stamped into the tailgate, no reason to have it anywhere else, people know its a Tacoma lol.

I also added an exhaust. I know, I know, there is no performance benefit, I just wanted a little more sound. I came from a Civic SI with a moderately loud exhaust, the stock exhaust was just way to quiet for my blood. I went down to a local exhaust shop and had them cut off the stock muffler and add a MagnaFlow, and a small Chrome Tip with the stock exit. No drone at highway, after a couple hundred miles it has more of a tone at highway, radio still drowns it out, which is fine, I have an 8 month old, no reason to blow his ear drums just yet lol. But it has a nice growl under a load, which is more-so what I was after.

If you go through deep water, streams etc. where you rear differential might get submerged. The stock breather is low and could suck in water contaminating the diff oil. The front diff breather is higher and exits near the upper engine compartment. Toyota was kinda asleep at the wheel on this one. I guess they forgot some people would need to forge deep streams when they went off road. Good thing is it's a cheap fix. Most folks put the exit up behind the taillight housing.

There are some darn nice houses out there I've seen! I've seen a couple that have cars parked in front worth several hundred thousand dollars.

Just finished installing my access vanish roll up tonneau cover! It took about an hour and a half even with a couple of mess ups and re-dos. For those who are curious, yes, the bed cleats will work with this cover, you just have to make sure to put them in the rails before you bolt everything down... Trust me... I learned the hard way. tonneau.jpg tonneau rolled.jpg
