Are you wrapping them or replacing them with paracord?
I know you said wrapping, just wanted to be sure. I know how to replace them, if you want that resource.

No just wrapping them in the paracord, the lady I got all the cord from showed me how to double wrap and hide the gray grab bar....

I have never seen anyone do this but I am very curious to see how this comes out. Post some pictures after you get it done!

I've done it on my first gen, I'll get pictures later. I didn't use any crazy technique just simply wrapped it around tight until it covered the whole thing.

I didn't completely cover mine but I wanted a girly touch to my truck. Its the only thing that may suggest a girl driver. I found a YouTube video and went to town. The wrap I used was very similar to friendship bracelet braids from my younger years.

20151126_191121.jpg I wrapped my steering wheel and door handles. Biggest tip is just take your time. Also with the steering wheel, it feels like crap initially, but after it breaks in with the oils from your hands it softens up and becomes a really good grip. It's nice having a little more to grab onto.

Damn I've really been wanting to do my steering wheel but I wasn't sure how it would come out, yours looks good. How long ago did you do it and has it loosened up at all?

You guys and gals must be bored. Why don't you just stick one of these on your dash and be done.

I can twist it if I want to, but it's solid! The cord has gotten really soft and has absorbed the oils from my hands, so it provides more grip than the bare wheel. Took a couple weeks to really notice a difference though... It's pretty slippery at first.
