Yeah, that is it. Few links in here for that. Not solid on that exact route, once we have a group and are on the road we may modify a bit. Also will meetup a lil off that route for the first day and night (that way I can start a day earlier and put the group together on a couple of spots).

Gas cans are easy to solve. Friends have them. Plastic cans are cheap and can be strapped down many ways. I have a second set of frontrunner jerry cans with the mount that someone will use for this trip. I don't think fuel will be a huge issue, I try to plan to barely need it so that if we really do need it we have plenty to get us somewhere. Our stock tanks can get us pretty far in the backcountry if we are not playing around too much, this is why the desert always gets me fuel wise, too much lead foot fun to be had. I will throw a post up today or tomorrow so we have one place for all this good discussion.

I have a 6 gallon plastic gas can you can use. The spout on it absolutely sucks though. I ended up putting it on the roof of my camper shell and siphoning the gas into my truck.
I think it currently has the gas the aux tank came with so I gotta figure out where to get rid of that first.

The desert almost got @EDDO,@CalTacoma09 and I a few weeks back. Rolled into the station with the fuel light on. That trip pretty much sealed the deal for me on a new rear bumper with duel gas can mounts.

Yeah I made the mistake recently of not topping off when the jeeps rolled through a gas station. A few gallons at $4.50+ is a lot better than being under 1/4 and still on dirt. Never again, I take advantage of topping of wherever I can before/between hitting dirt, I hate saying no to side trail exploring.

Way I see it, we could have split my extra 5 three ways.:D
Damn that impassible side canyon! Doubling back to the pole line road made all the difference.

Nice I just picked up my high clearance rear bumper with dual swing outs from Billy about a week ago. It's great!
