So I'm going to DC at the end of the month for a couple weeks to spend time at the office. I checked Walmart.com and the 30s are all over the place up there. I can order online for pickup and have somebody grab them for me and out them in my office.

@dan0mite If one happens to make its way back here cool, don't need to go out of the way for it. The Walmart I checked didn't have any, dude said 3 other people just asked him today lol.

Ha I had very similar results. Although I didn't take temps (my probe was outside under the smoker cover). I microwaved 28ozs of water for three minutes, put it in the fridge about 8:00pm checked it once around 12:00am then at 7:15am. Was warm, not sure I would call it hot. This was with an Engel.

    I'm glad someone quantified that.

Definitely wouldn't call it hot, but that's pretty cool.

Now someone should do a similar test with what some would consider a completely inferior vacuum sealed product (like my free Toyota travel mug) and see how they compare.

Grabbed 4. If you end up finding some local before I get the 2 to you I'll just keep them so no worries. I plan on 4 of each size so I'm good either way.

It's a pretty useless test because your beverage doesn't hold heat if you are actively drinking it. Sure it works if you pour a cup and then leave it for later but not the same while drinking it. I filled up the tumbler and slowly drank it over the course of an hour and at the end of that time, when I was on the last few sips, it was hardly warm.

As someone had posted above, I think these tumblers do a better job of maintaining cold than heat. But that's just my opinion.
