    Is that a silicone hose, or a braided nylon? I did not look up the part number.

    Some don't work with oil. Some seem to have the ability to.

    I have had a silicone hose as part of my catch can system for between 4 to 6 years. Still just as pliable as day one. No change in its integrity. Good hose that I purchased from Kozmic Motorsports. Brushes off brake-clean as well without even noticing it.

    I also have some cheaper silicone hose which was another shop's own name brand. It was much cheaper by the foot. Cannot even fold it over on itself without it cracking and breaking.

    I believe the Vibrant stuff should be pretty good. Not certain, unless that is the brand of hose which Kozmic uses.

    Mine works great. Empty it with every oil change. I did not use their hose.

    Very good. Thanks. This is my next Mod and want to get one that's proven to be good. My main concern is vacuum leaks with the can itself . it sounds like the seal on this unit seems to be holding up good. Thanks for the reply.

    No problem with mine. Straight forward install. I did put a wee o-ring on the dipstick. Also, make sure you tighten the inner basket. Check out this thread and you'll see what I'm talking about. The OP has pictures on the first page.
