All depends on how easy/cheap or not it is to fix.

This, or we might start seeing "Lexus motor mount mod" threads on the forum.

I'm ready for anything that resolves it! It's not so bad on the gas pedal
for me but that foot rest/hump for the left foot drives me a little nutty as
it the natural spot for me left foot and always has been.

I know. I had a few TSB's done on some of my cars over the years.

I don't see many mentions of feeling it in the steering wheel. Are Doobie and I the only ones with numb hands?

I feel a slight buzz in the steering wheel. But my vibration isn't constant. It comes on around 2,000 rpm, then fades when the truck shifts.

I feel it in the steering wheel when I accelerate in the 2000-2500 rpm range but very minimal anytime else. My vibration however in the gas pedal and floorboard is present all the time and is driving me nuts.

Was this something that they've rectified with recent production?

    Haven't noticed anything in mine.

Doubt it, some people just get the shaft. But just for kicks and giggles, can you list out the specs and options on your truck?

A page back or so I posted some pictures of a couple lines (fuel and purge line) that I can feel buzz. Would you guys be willing to touch them while your truck is running and let me know how they feel to you? They won't be hot and they are easy to access from the wheel well. Just have to put your finger on them.

I'm trying to narrow down possibilites.

The owners with this problem are preaching to the choir. The number of owners complaining about this vibration is to small to get Toyota to respond. When I Google 2016 Tacoma problems the top hit is "car complaints.com". There are 49 complaints from Tacoma owners, of those complaints only one is remotely close to the issue described by owners on this forum. The owner complains of a shudder, I doubt this is the same problem. This web site and similar should be filled with complaints of owners "on this forum" describing the vibration problem. Negative publicity/reviews by actual owners seems to me to be the only thing that is going to get corporates attention.

Actually, six complaints. It's the most common complaint.

I stand corrected, it's six complaints, I didn't realize the vibration had been determined to be an engine problem, so I didn't click on that link. Six complaints of the many owners describing the vibration issue on this forum will surely get Toyota motivated to resolve the issue.

I was under the truck this weekend installing some rock sliders and it was the first time I spent any time under the truck and it was for a good half a day.

Bit of back ground, my issue is a bit different than everybody else that I have a vibration between 1900 and 2400rpm. I can feel it in the steering wheel and gas pedal. For me, it's what accompanies the vibes, I have an exhaust drone in those engine speeds that drives me crazy - but what I've discovered is that it's not necessarily from the exhaust and I can ~sort of~ show that it's structure borne.

So, while I was under the truck I was checking out the exhaust system, seeing what it might take to replace it or put on a resonator somewhere. What I discovered, is that it looks like the entire length of the exhaust is rigidly mounted to the engine. The exhaust hangers were pretty solid, hard rubber. These two things combined, when I grabbed and tried to move the exhaust, there was almost zero give.

In every other vehicle I've every had, there was an exhaust joint of some sort near the engine side - like a large version of a braided steel brake lines, or some sort of spring loaded ball joint looking thing. Also, the exhaust hangers where of softer rubber.

I'm wondering if engine vibration is traveling to the body/frame through the exhaust and through the hangers. The exhaust hanging back from the engine is like a giant tuning fork that could resonate at those frequencies. I'm now looking for soft rubber/silicone exhaust hangers to see if I can kill a vibration path.

I'm still trying to figure if my new rock sliders (bolted to the frame) have changed the vibration characteristics - since it would change the resonant frequency of the frame.
