I have a 2015 Tacoma and I want to get a lift. Not sure where to start and what are my options. I'd like to hear about reasonable lifts that will do well but are also within a good dollar amount. Thanks in advance

OK, please answer the following questions. Budget? Intended use? Self install? Tire size intended? Have you looked at the suspension page here? The answers to these will get you more help. People here love to tell you what they've done to their rides, but need a starting point.

OME Nitro Charger Sport Shocks front & Rear
Had HeadStrong assemble the front struts & coil
    Driver side trim packer
    Light Racing UCA's
    MaxTrac 2" lift blocks & new U-Bolts

Out the door including shipping $1,252

From Headstrong Offroad; Bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners. OME 885X coils. Deavers 2" AAL. 1/4" "taco lean spacer". Headstrong pre-assembled the struts for me. That get's you a new "top hat"....$733 to my door. Added a Headstrong U-bolt flip kit for another $79.

Did NOT need new UCA's. Got 2.9 degree caster with stock UCA's and the truck handles perfect. I ended up having to use a 1/2" top plate spacer (in place of the 1/4") to get level side to side. ("Taco lean") I make my own spacers out of 1/2" sheet poly. Easy as it can be....a drill and a jig saw....

Total lift in front is 2-3/4" both sides after 5000 miles to settle out springs. Total lift in rear is 2". Ride is excellent. Handling is excellent. Off road performance is all I could ever expect. Looks are exactly what I was after. Total spent was under $800.

Call Marie @ Headstrong. Best prices. Best customer service. VERY knowledgeable. She'll treat you right.

Budget can be dependent. Maybe I'm considering like 3k or 3.5k for a lift and tires. It's gonna be for some off roading nothing too extreme. I was thinking maybe some 33" tires. As for as the height of a lift not sure what sizes are recommended and which ones aren't. I've read multiple reviews on how some people hear noises or can't put their truck in 4 low because of their lift. Also what brands or lifts should I stay away from. I've seen like the rough country, fabtech, etc. I'll probably have it installed also.

^^^^^ I have the exact same setup - same place, Headstrong Offroad. No UCA's either but didn't get as much caster as Bluegrass - 2.4. Still handles and tracks great. I got 2.5" of front lift and about 1.75" in the rear but that's because I'm running a topper with the rack carpet and Bedrug options. Total rake was about .75" - looks level to the naked eye. I used a .25" top plate spacer for taco lean from Headstrong with my kit. I put about 1k miles on it and haven't re-measured for settling but suspect there's been a bit, although not readily visible to me.

Completely happy with every aspect - stance, performance and transaction with Headstrong.

I'm thinking my need to use a 1/2" spacer was all to do with THIS truck....I had stock TRD OR coils and shocks with a 2" spacer lift and had to use 1/2" spacer on drivers side to get THAT leveled. Stock coils SHOULDN'T need lean spacers, much less 1/2". Maybe it's my size too big McDonalds eating ass that causes the excessive lean, who knows....
