Only the maglight mod, mounted on floor drivers side, billet antenna and have lined all storage under rear seats with rubber to keep the rattling to a minimum.
How about upgrading the UCAs? I'm pretty much in the same situation as you. I'm more of a practical user of my Taco than a serious off-roader. I merely wanted a little more clearance like you. My hunting property has to true roads so we always run into tractor ruts along the way. image.jpgYeah, uh....that's a 22' drop there! My bro-in-law put a steel box frame across with the ply on top so we could drive the ATV across. Trust me, it's scary as f**k! image.jpg

Just looking for height and clearance. Nothing as far as serious off-roading. I got a tight bank account so I gotta be frugal. Lol

I ordered the same tail lights yesterday! There is a thread about them.

I would recommend if you're going to upgrade the UCAs, go the extra couple hundred dollars and include the upgraded springs and shocks. The rubbing between the spring and UCA is so minor that for me doesn't justify an all new suspension, but for you, that's a big drop, lol!

With this set up, i'm going to upgrade to the 5100's later. I've heard that the 5100's will allow for more travel. Right now i'm still running the stock billys.

Whats the difference between the DEPO and ANZO blacked tail lights? Seems like the Anzo's have some good reviews too.

I've heard the Anzos have had fitment issues and with leaking inside of 3 months. Granted these issues could be related to user errors. I just decided to go with the Depo's because I've seen good reviews across different sites.

Not sure what the difference is, but these have great reviews and are relatively cheaper.
Here is the thread on them:

I've put carpet in the bed of mine before and you're best option is to use something on the stiff side so it doesn't bunch or ball up every time you load or unload your truck. What works the best is to get carpet that has a foam backing on it so when you get into the bed you won't feel the ridges in the bed as bad. Your knees will thank you for it.

Just so you know whats out there. Bedrug, I know you said you are on a budget, so this will probably be too much (its too much for me for carpet). But maybe if you're skilled you could get close to something like this.

Only the maglight mod, mounted on floor drivers side, billet antenna and have lined all storage under rear seats with rubber to keep the rattling to a minimum.
I realize that it would be more of a permenant application, but what about using spray adhesive to install the carpet to the bed floor part and industrial strength double sided tape or HD Velcro for the sides and front? Never done anything like this myself so i'm brainstorming. Thoughts???

Its obviously it's custom fit by Bedrug, but how does it attach and how well does it stay in place during use?

Don't know, never used one. They look nice though, would be great under a topper.

I have a Snugtop, with the Bedrug, I like it a lot, laid Home Depot carpet on the floor top to protect the Bedrug.:anonymous:
I don't haul much in there but it's real comfortable for camping, would be hassle to remove, but it's in with velcro, and screwed behind the cubbies, and tailgate...
