Just curious if anybody running larger shackles in the rear for a little lift? What are the pros and cons of this? I was starting to look into it and don't really know if any problems could arise with it

    Thanks

with the setup that our trucks run you can't simply put on a different length shackle to gain lift. if you look under your truck you'll see that they run an inverted shackle, thus in order to gain lift you would have to put on a shorter shackle which in turn wouldn't allow the spring to flex and would cause binding issues.

the flip kit i sell will provide approximately 1/2" of lift on the rear. i have thought about building a different setup that would allow the choice of more lift however it would be a good bit more expensive than what i offer now. if there was enough demand for it i would be more than happy to move forward with developing it.

^ I think there would definitely by interest with a higher lift shackles. Do the ones you sell now (1/2" lift) require any cutting?
