This is how the non tech package OR should have came, not with the atrocious chrome! That bumper looks like it matches the flares pretty good

    Hi fellow members,

New member here, I've had a gen 2 taco Trd double cab Trd sport and sold it to get the new gen 3 double cab Trd off road. One thing I miss from my sport is the hood scoop, and I'm currently sitting at the dealership because of the flexing in the hood for the new gen 3 and to check my trans fluid. I only have 500 miles on it. I'm waiting for the advisor to see what they will do. Has anyone had the ability to talk the dealer into swapping it for the sports hood? I'm concerned they'll recommend a body shop to handle the repairs but since it's a 2 week old truck I'm hoping I have some pull in swapping hoods.

They will be checking my trans fluid as well.

I also read about the u bolt to be tightend. Where would this be located?

I'll keep u guys updated with the process. I would like to thank all the forum members who have shared, it really helps keeping eachother informed.

Welcome to the forum! They are not allowed do a hood swap, because of the vin. But you could trade it on here for one after you get yours squared away!

There's a whole thread for hood swapping. Just list color and location.
