Sorry no actual pics....I am at work and not a lot of access. 2014 Countryman S All 4. Megan catback and altered airbox means it should be pushing about 200hp somewhere.(191hp stock S turbo) You know the deal. I have to say that owning it is like getting sucked into Mod Fever with the FJ all over again. We have been to one rally so far down in Maine and it was a huge blast. 16 Mini's rolling through the back roads of Coastal Maine on a sunny Saturday. I think the term that was used was "spirited driving" being the order of the day. Spooling up the turbo and feeling it hit is terribly addicting.

    Google pic is darn close

I like it for the most part.... Ergonomics and universality are not exactly goals with these guys...The radio/stereo is a huge learning curve on it's own. Nothing seems to be where you expect it...But it is all there. Seats are super comfortable and lots of support for "spirited driving". We drove a few hardtops (regular Mini's) in base and Clubman styles and were surprised at how small they were. Weare used to the FJ and CRV. But when we drove the Countryman we were quite impressed. Not huge but decent amount of room. Even enough boot space that I don't have to tear down the wheelchair every time if it is just the two of us. That is a bonus for sure.

We have the sportshift auto which is a giggle to run through the six speed. There is a regular "Drive" and then a "Drive Sport" that is still full auto but shifts up and down VERY noticeably...Especially gearing down. I prefer the manu-matic choice. Paddle shifting is cool when you are in the twisty's. Hopefully going to NC next year to do Tail of The Dragon. 11 miles and 318 curves...

True, but I have no need to go into trees. Shit, it did go through, but usually at a crawl.

Fair enough! Mine doesn't seem to have the ground clearance to excel on rocks though. Maybe I should lift it!
I really want to do the tail of the Dragon, but I'm almost too worried yo try and cross the boarder in my car, and my other options (my tracker or the lady's 2008 base model elantra) wouldn't be fun I don't think!

If somebody is from Quebec, maybe Ontario, it would be worth checking out. I normally like to see the merchandise before forking over $$.

Had one of these as a loaner recently. Absolutely loved it! Wish they had one in MT, but the paddle shifters helped a bit.

EDIT: my Tacoma for scale haha.

It's not even really that "mini"! It's a fair sized car!
