Aloha! Can someone recommend an audio shop on Oahu for me? I have a 2014 Access Cab Tacoma and want to do some audio upgrades. I'm a total newb with which products/brands are good and just want to go somewhere where I can get it all done for me. Thanks!

Depends on what you want, but here are a few recommended dealers/install shops:
    1. Security & Sound System (2131 S Beretania St, Moiliili) - expensive, but best, JL Audio dealer
    2. Car Audio & Security (321 Mokauea St, Ste C, Kalihi) - good deals, fast service, JL Audio dealer
    3. Mobile Car Audio (98-265 Kamehameha Hwy, Aiea) - best customer service, easy to work with, good deals
    4. Car Audio Tech (916 Queen St, Kakaako) - good service, limited options
    5. Elite Car Stereo (379 Kamehameha Hwy, Ste A, Pearl City) - lots of options, decent prices

Security & sounds great place but pricey. Well worth the money if you can't install yourself.

Mobile car audio. Another great place. Customer service is amazing.

So far these are the only two shops I'd let work on my vehicles. I haven't tried other shops as these 2 always helped me out with what I needed

Great thanks guys. I'm just looking to keep my factory stereo but upgrade the speakers and add an amplifier. Probably not going to do a subwoofer.

I kept my head unit and added the sub (box and amp), front and rear speakers (both 6x9 and 6.5's) and an amp for the speakers. Kept the tweeters stock. Sounds so good!

If u want simple, go with the alpine ktp-445U an a decent set of speakers. Just remember u will lose all your lows without an sub.

Nu image in waihiwa is awesome. I've done all my alarm/stereo work with them. Price is decent and service is excellent!!
My family has done multiple stereos systems with them. F-150, Gmc, Ranger, Corolla, and Venza.
And Alarms in Corolla Ranger and both my tacos.
