    You're not supposed to treat the canvas of the tent, it needs to breathe. That said you should take the mattress out and soak the tent with water a couple times to let the stitching swell/seal.
    I do use a waterproofer and uv protestant on the fly. Gimme a minute to find it....

    The three or four times we get "rain" here in southern California is plenty enough.

    I just bought my first RTT. A tepui Kukenam Ruggedized And i am about to mount it to My 2013 tacoma. I have the factory roof rack. I am wondering if they will fit and if they are strong enough for the tent + my girlfriend and me. I have been looking online and can find anything. Is there anybody that have this set-up and confirm me that it works fine? I dont want to bend my roof or break my rack...

    I've seen a few people run this set up. It's a little high up. One thing to make sure is that the mounting brackets are long enough so that each hole (for the bolts) is far enough apart to clear the OEM cross bars
