We had the same problem at home. The new version of ITunes lets you rip the music back off of your iPod to the computer. You have to authorize the device and it should work.

I have an Ipod question, I have little experience with I pods havent had mine long, grandparents got my daughter one I was wondering how to get the music off mine onto hers, and can I transfer all my music to hers or only the stuff I have bought off off I tunes? Most of my music came from CD's and stuff other people downloaded for me. Thanks in advance for any help you can give a techno challenged Ipod newbie.

What do you use to sync your ipod with?

Just plug it into your computer - the same way that you plug your ipod in.

Then sync whatever music you want onto her ipod.

I have two ipods that I plug into the same computer. I'll just sync whatever playlists I want onto the one ipod (smaller one)....and my other ipod gets ALL my music.
