I welded the first piece to my bed but blew holes through it even on the low current settings (cheap flux core welder is all I got). I did small tacks along it but they have no real penetration, thought this stupid thing could handle 16awg steel . Any ideas? should I just borrow a different welder from someone?

    Stuff. Also things.
I'd say at least 10hp from the UofU sticker alone. Go Utes!

I have a 3.4l. I have only changed the oil once since new oil was put in right after the truck was put together. The oil looked good and but may have had a very slight drop. This was with 5000mi.

I guess ill change it again here very soon and see what happens. The only thing I did between now and the last oil change was add a new pcv.

Cell phone (Nexus 6) and the default camera app. Yes it auto HDR+ when settings are right. So the sky and windshield look colorful instead of white while the trees and mulch retain their color as well.

Did you previously swap your AT for a MT and now are adding backup lights?

I really like how you modded the TW sticker. If I ever feel I've earned one, I have a good feeling I won't be able to fit it width wise, since I already have an addiction to stickers. I might do what you've done.
And I like the patches. That's a pretty classy way to dress the interior.

They are pretty damn good for shit like impact sockets, BFH's, pry bars, etc. Also got a $11 impact hammer since I literally only use it to pop the input shaft off my steering rack and not much else.

Today I finished up the wiring to my aux fuse block in the tool box in preparation for my new rear switch/lighting setup thanks to my custom bent bracket from @paranoid56

I definitely know not to buy winches or air compressors or anything like that there. But a pack of quick setting epoxy and some telescopic handled loppers? Sign me up.

Which reminds me, I need to go back there and get that mini-shovel.

Flux core is not what you want for sheet metal work. I understand you have to use what you can but see if a friend can help you out with a wire feed & shield gas and you'll get better results.
    Good luck!

Yaa I feel ya then. It took about four months to get mine . I hear quite a few people have had similar wait times as your having but eventually they get a couple.

I can't talk shit on their compressors. My buddy gave me his old one for free and it works great for my application. The regulator is kinda garbage and sometimes fills till it needs to blow off pressure but it's easily fixed. I just have been too lazy to.
