He was facing south. Compass goes all wonky when you turn around.

wow... where ya at? which route you taking? the southern route... (turning just before Watson lake) is where I saw all the Bear... but I saw buffalo, caribou, Elk, fox, Sheep, and Moose on both the upper route as well as the southern.

Does anyone know if you can rent a RTT? I'm not sure if I want to buy one and would prefer to test it out with the family this summer.

depending on the size and date... I might be willing to loan ya mine... it's a kukanam Tepui...

maybe, but West is West, no matter what way you are facing. Unless you are at one of the Poles. Then it's either all South or North. :D

I think I figured out what he meant.
He was on the east side of i25 (northbound) and I was east of him on the frontage road.
The part that threw me was "Longmont". It's Frederick and firestone east of the highway.

    That would be awesome!

We are thinking of taking a week or 2 in August to wheel our way to Moab then Salt lake to visit some friends. We did it 2 years ago with just our son but now we have 2 kids (2.5 and 1). It would be a ton easier to camp with the RTT than our ground tent. I have a 5th gen TE with the factory rack a RTT should be able to bolt to no problem.

I found http://www.rentoffthegrid.com/ but not in Denver.

Tepui only rents out of CA

CVT doesn't say where, I would assume Oregon.
